While attending Brunswick High School, I played numerous sports and received multiple All State Awards. I went on to attend Ashland University and completed 2 years of Exercise Science. I then transferred to The University of Cincinnati where I completed my remaining 2.5 years, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health Education. While in school, I also became an ACE certified personal trainer. I played 2 years of collegiate football, and got the opportunity to accept an internship at Redline Athletics. During the internship I worked with athletes ranging from youth all the way to both the collegiate and professional levels, where I gained valuable experience. Aside from my various athletic and educational achievements, I am a certified EMT, and have taken steps towards becoming a fire fighter. In my personal life – my best buddy is my dog Toby and I love hiking with him, traveling, being active, and spending time with my family. I opened Higher Heights Fitness because it aligned with my personal goals and I knew it would bring fulfillment to my life. I wanted to create a space where people feel confident, comfortable, motivated, and over-all better about themselves. I have a passion for helping people achieve happiness and a healthy lifestyle – and I’m aspiring to do just that! I compiled a highly motivated and educated staff, along with workouts and programs designed individually that are tailored for my clients’ specific goals. Opening this training studio is a dream of mine – and I am proud to help others achieve their fitness goals and give them the confidence to reach higher heights.
